Elina Kikili is a qualified dance teacher since 1991! She is from Greece where she studied Ballet, Contemporary and Rhythm for 12yrs at The State School of Dance (K.S.O.T) and continued her dancing development by attending numerous workshops and courses in Europe and USA. She has taught Ballet and Contemporary in many dance schools and has performed in Greece with several Contemporary Dance companies. Since 2000 her dancing interest shifted more to the East so she started Belly dance and Yoga, in the beginning just for her own entertainment. Her curiosity to discover new worlds took her to Thailand and Laos where she studied for 6 months Traditional Thai Massage and then to India where she found Rajasthani Gypsy dance, Odissi Classical Indian Dance and her beloved Guru Colleena Shakti. She is now based in Bristol, UK, where she teaches Ballet for Adults, Indian Fusion, Rajasthani Dances and Odissi Classical Indian Dance and performs Rajasthani, Indian Fusion and Odissi Elina since 2005 travels every year to India where she stays for a minimum of 3-6 months to study Odissi, Indian Fusion, Rajasthani Dances, Yoga and Indian Culture and aesthetics at The Shakti School of Dance.
